At Connect Church, we believe in authentic faith, life-giving community, and the transforming power of Jesus and that’s exactly how Pastors Bob and Deanna Nilges lead. Married for 27 years and parents to three amazing adult children Kylee (25), Hudson (25) and Hannah (22) they bring over two decades of full-time ministry experience in youth, young adult, men’s and women’s ministries. Bob is known for his humor, warmth, and deep passion for teaching God’s Word. Whether he’s cheering at a ball game, fishing, or off-roading in his well-worn Tacoma, he leads with a true pastor’s heart, making people feel seen, heard, and loved. Deanna, often called the “Gatherer of People,” thrives on connection. Her contagious joy and gift for building community have made her a dynamic leader in women’s ministry and beyond. Together, Bob and Deanna lead Connect Church with a heart for faith, family, and helping people discover a real relationship with Jesus. Their greatest joy is seeing lives transformed through the gospel and building a life-giving church that serves the Columbia, Missouri community.
